Welcome to the official electronic page of the Academy of Construction, Architecture and Design of the Caspian University!
Here you can get acquainted with the educational, scientific and creative activities of the Academy, its educational programs, teaching staff, achievements of students in the creative and scientific field.
Our Academy has been in existence since 2018 and has achieved considerable success during this time. In 2021, our educational programs have been independently accredited, and there are plans to open master's and doctoral degree programs.
The teaching staff consists of professors, honored workers of the architectural and construction industry and in the field of art. The Academy pays great attention to attracting professional architects and designers with practical experience to conduct master classes and project management.
During the entire period of study, our students participate in many conferences and exhibitions, take prizes in Olympiads and competitions.
Every year the Academy holds an international conference on topical issues of urbanism, architecture, construction and design, within the framework of which a competition of creative and scientific projects is held.
The Academy conducts preparatory courses on creative exams for applicants, courses on modern computer programs (AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit, 3DSMax).

Architecture is an educational program 6B07325 "Architecture", implemented by the direction of training "Architecture and Design" of the Academy of Construction, Architecture and Design of the Caspian Public University of Almaty.
Future bachelors receive comprehensive knowledge in the field of architecture. Students will be taught architectural graphics, academic drawing, painting layout, three-dimensional computer modeling, architectural and landscape design, urban planning.
Thus, they will gain knowledge about creating a project model, making production and technical decisions in the field of civil and industrial construction, urban planning and landscape architecture, restoration and reconstruction of historical buildings, interior architecture, as well as for organizing project work in a team.
Graduates will be able to analyze the urban environment, model spatial objects of the environment with reference to the urban situation, create new architectural objects, landscapes and urban spaces, expositions, interiors. Be able to carry out design work on reconstruction and restoration.
Architects and designers are especially in demand in modern conditions. They work as highly paid specialists and will be able to work in private architectural bureaus and elite construction companies, creating a new image of independent Kazakhstan.
Construction is an educational program 6B07326 "Construction", implemented by the direction of training "Design and calculation of civil and industrial buildings and structures" of the Academy of Construction, Architecture and Design of the Caspian Public University of Almaty.
Construction engineering (engineering in the construction industry) covers all phases of the implementation of investment and construction projects: design, selection and production of materials, construction, operation of facilities.
Students gain knowledge in the field of design of reinforced concrete and metal buildings and structures, technologies of construction and installation works, technologies of production of building materials and structures. The sphere of professional activity is both technical support of construction and work at enterprises producing construction materials.
The program provides one training and production practice, which allows a student from the 1st year to acquire applied skills necessary for successful work in the future. The disciplines are designed in such a way that students begin to think creatively, critically and creatively from the first day of training.
Graduates work as engineers in construction organizations, in leading organizations in the field of design, production and operation of construction industry facilities and are in high demand due to the increased pace of construction.
Design - Educational program 6B02102 "Design", implemented by the direction of training "Design" of the Academy of Construction, Architecture and Design of the Caspian Public University of Almaty.
Future bachelors receive comprehensive knowledge in the field of design. Students will be taught various types of graphics, academic drawing, painting, layout design, three-dimensional computer modeling, architectural and landscape design.
Thus, they will gain knowledge about creating a design project model, making production and technical decisions in the field of landscape and graphic design, interior design, as well as when organizing project work in a team.
Graduates receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in the educational program "Design" and work as designers, landscape designers, fashion designers, artists. The priority of training is practical activity, design of residential and public facilities, urban planning.

Within the framework of bachelor's degree preparation in three educational programs, students of the Academy of Construction, Architecture and Design have the opportunity to study academic mobility at the following foreign universities: Tyumen Industrial University (Tyumen, Russian Federation), East European University (Tbilisi, Georgia), Transilvania University (Brasov, Romania). Internal mobility is carried out within the framework of agreements with NAO Toraigyrov University, KAZADI named after L.B. Goncharov, ENU named after L.N. Gumilev.
Negotiations are currently underway with universities in Italy (Milan Polytechnic Institute), Azerbaijan (Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Civil Engineering).
The organization and recognition of learning outcomes obtained within the framework of academic mobility programs is regulated by the Academic Policy of the KOU, section 14. Academic mobility policy.
From 2018 to 2022, the years were fruitful for ASAiD teaching staff in the implementation of the strategy for the development of science in KOU. The number of publications on three educational programs has increased, that is, "construction, architecture and design". About 75 scientific articles have been published, which indicates the involvement of teaching staff in scientific research. It is planned to open a master's degree in the educational program "Architecture" in 2023-2024.
The most important areas of the Academy's research activities were carried out, such as:
– stimulating the publication activity of teaching staff in highly rated publications, stimulating publications with foreign and industrial partners;
– development of scientific and industrial cooperation, business relations, formation of mechanisms for effective educational, scientific and industrial interaction of participants of the future world-class scientific and educational center.
The positive side and progress should also include: an increase in the number of candidates and doctors of sciences from among teachers and staff, an increase in the number of scientists, research teams and students who have applied for various grant competitions and projects.
It should be noted that in 2022, the positive trends that took place in the previous year towards the expansion of research topics, active participation in grant competitions, and a variety of research topics have been preserved.
Educational practice in the 2nd year for students selected by a special competition is held in Turkestan, Taraz. At the senior courses, students have the opportunity to study at the universities of Georgia, Romania, Russia and other foreign universities for one semester under academic mobility programs.
The production practice takes place in the leading design organizations of Almaty, such as the Design Academy "KAZGOR", "BI Group", "Kazakhstroy", "ExpoBest", etc. In the process of studying, students successfully participate in international professional competitions.
A mandatory component of the training is the completion of the dual training module. It is implemented jointly with Finefloor and Mondialdesign. During the semester, students are trained on the basis of the company, which allows students to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of professional activity and apply the acquired skills in practice.
The teachers of the Academy have achievements in the research field such as: diploma of the 1st degree conference "The best young scientists 2021", the National movement "Bobek" in the city of Nur-Sultan, a young teacher, Master of Technical Sciences Semen Alexandrovich Donchenko, assistant professor, won this award.
Senior lecturer, architect with 30 years of experience Shadyarov Artur Serikovich received an award and a diploma of the 1st degree in 2022 in the nomination "Kazakhstan Republicasyn zhyldyn uzdik mamany".
Senior lecturer, architect Aidar Yerasyl Aidaruly won a grant with funding in the amount of 3 million tenge "Tauelsizdik urpaktary", dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana in the direction of "Culture".
Students also have awards and annually replenish the piggy bank of our academy. Mingalev Sergey and Tashmukhamed Dilyar are the holders of the diploma of the 3rd degree at the XXII Republican Scientific Student Conference "Student and science: a look into the future" in the section "Construction mechanics and geotechnics", head Bubnovich Emilia Valentinovna.
Kim Vyacheslav Igorevich is the winner of 2 places at the republican Olympiad in construction construction, the head of Bubnovich Emilia Valentinovna.
At the international student scientific and practical conference "Descriptive geometry, engineering and computer graphics in the modern digital space" a student of the specialty "Design" Mysykbaeva Janel Nurlanovna received a diploma of the 3rd degree.
Shailibek Begimzhan Nurlankyzy received a diploma of the 2nd degree at the Republican contest of young fashion designers "Inzhu- design".
But the students of our academy are prize-winners not only in subject Olympiads and conferences, but also distinguished themselves in sports.
2nd year student Sadambekov Rishad Dilshatovich is the champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan in bodybuilding, arm wrestling championship among young people.
Rakhmatulla Shyabnam Elsa Nematullayevna, a 2nd-year student of the specialty design, has the title of champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan, among teenagers and youth in Muay Thai. We also have a master of sports in freestyle wrestling MS of Turkey Kanlybayev Sagynzhan Yerzhanuly.
