Institute of Engineering

Dean – Gulnara Baybolovna Nurpeisova, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Academic Professor, member of the RosSNIO RES Committee,

In 2003, MangistauMunaiGas JSC joined the shareholders of our university as the main shareholder. This led to organizational changes and the renaming of the university to the Educational Institution “Caspian Public University”. At the request of the shareholders, the University began training engineering personnel and this was the birth of our Institute. Currently, our Institute trains specialists in the field of education “Engineering, manufacturing and construction industries”, “Information and Communication Technologies” and “Services” at Bachelor’s and Master’s degree levels, implementing 14 educational programs. This year, 2 new OP at the junction of these areas “Digital Oil and gas Engineering” have been developed and entered into the register.

We are systematically improving the content of educational programs to increase the competitiveness of our graduates.

We are preparing personnel for the New Kazakhstan!

We present updated educational programs and invite you to get the most in-demand specialized competencies and soft skills in modern production!

Special attention is paid to the issue of attracting foreign experts and professors. The Institute organized a guest lecture for students and teachers by Professor Slavka Slavtcheva Tzanova of Sofia Technical University (Bulgaria) on the program “Development of a two–level innovation program in microelectronic engineering DOCMEN” on 16-21.06.2019. Within the framework of this project, UMKDS on the discipline “Microelectronic Engineering” were developed. At the expense of the project funds, a specialized auditorium 035 is equipped, which houses 8 monoblocks, an interactive whiteboard and a projector.

The teachers who participated in the implementation of the accredited OP, PhD Isaeva G.B. and Makhanova A.S., were trained as part of the Erasmus+ “DOCMEN” project at the Polytechnic University (Italy, Turin) on the topic “Development of a two-level innovation program in microelectronic engineering DOCMEN” (2016-2020).

The Institute organized guest lectures and seminars for students and teachers by Farit Akramovich Agzamov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department “Drilling of Oil and Gas Wells” of the Ufa State Petroleum Technical University (Ufa, Bashkortostan).
