A modern translator is not just a specialist who has studied a foreign language. A specialist in Intercultural and communicative translation is someone who understands almost everything. History, culture, economics, political relations, terminology and processes from various fields of science and technology – this is not the whole list of information that he owns.
Information flows know no boundaries, time and space, and translations cover all spheres of human activity. Undoubtedly, in terms of social significance, translations occupy one of the most important places in the system of global communications, and the role of translation activity is increasing.
Psychology is another popular field of activity in the world. The profession of a psychologist is connected with working with people. The spectrum and specifics of the psychologist’s activities are so diverse that it is impossible to find an area of human activity where the participation or consultation of a psychologist would not be required.
Psychologists help to achieve results, to reveal the abilities of the individual, to adapt in a team, to support a person in difficult situations.
Psychologists are popular in the modern world, practicing psychologists work in various spheres of public and personal life. The psychologist works in kindergartens, schools and other educational institutions, in clinics, sanatoriums, special psychological and rehabilitation centers.
Modern psychologists are needed in every labor collective today, the knowledge and skills of a psychologist are needed even in political activity, especially in law and advertising.

The High School of Humanities is a structural unit of the Caspian Public University, which was created on the basis of the reorganization of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Faculty of Medical and Technical Specialties in September, 2014. High School of Humanities provides fundamental training in the cycle of social and humanitarian disciplines for all students and undergraduates of CPU, and also conducts bachelor’s degree training in the educational programs assigned to the school in the areas of translation, psychology and healthcare (nursing) by providing quality services in accordance with the requirements of the labor market.

Mechnikov National University (Kiev, Ukraine). Internal mobility is carried out within the framework of agreements with Toraigyrov University.
Negotiations are currently underway with universities in Germany (Goethe University of Frankfurt and Humboldt University of Berlin), Poland (Academy of Humanities and Economics in Lodz) and Italy (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore)
The organization and recognition of learning outcomes obtained within the framework of academic mobility programs is regulated by the Academic Policy of the CPU, section 14. Academic mobility policy.
For today, as part of the academic mobility program, 2nd year student 6B03106 “Organizational Psychology” Arina Denisovna Lushchikova is studying at the Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis (Russia, Moscow) in the first half of the 2022-2023 academic year.
The specialty “Nursing Management” conducts academic mobility of students together with the ” Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University “. Within the framework of cooperation between the Caspian Public University and the Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University . in the 2021-2022 academic year, an academic mobility program was implemented within the framework of which 3rd-year students of the specialty “Nursing” of the ” Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University “. in the number of 7 people studied in the 6th semester in the discipline “Specialized nursing care” at the Caspian Public University. Students of the 3rd-year educational institution “CPU” in the number of 7 people of the specialty “Nursing Management” in the period from April 14 to May 12, 2022 passed the development of the discipline “Specialized nursing care” in the Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University.
The High School of Humanities annually holds scientific and practical conferences, this year they held on the topics “Actual problems of science and education”, “Actual problems of psychology in the XXI century”. All teachers and students of the High School of Humanities participated and shared their opinions and made scientific reports.
There is a “School of Young Teachers” in the High School of Humanities, which conducts educational and methodological seminars to improve the skills of young specialists.
The Student Scientific Community “Translation studies” works on the educational program 6B02303 – “Intercultural and communicative translation”. It includes all students of the educational program. The purpose of the Community is to develop the skills of conducting scientific research, working with scientific literature, improving general theoretical and practical training., Members of the Community have been conducting not only theoretical, but also practical research, which is discussed at meetings since 2022
Also, students of the educational program are members of the Speaking platform section, aimed at developing public speaking skills and overcoming the language barrier. A distinctive feature of the work of this section is that speakers have the opportunity to speak on any topic at will. If you want to participate in debates, share your opinion on certain issues, then Speaking platform will just allow you to do this.
A mandatory component of training in the educational program 6B02303 – “Intercultural and communicative translation” is the passage of the dual training module. It is implemented jointly with the Translation Agency ADVANCE. Students are invited to choose one of the offered disciplines to study. The peculiarity of studying dual training disciplines is that they take place entirely on the basis of the ADVANCE Translation Agency, which allows students to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of professional activity.
In addition to scientific achievements, sports occupy an important part of the life of our teachers and students. For example, Anatoly Victorovich Lyubaev is professionally engaged in bodybuilding, as it is now called, he is a world-class athlete. He goes to the World Championships every year and defends the honor of Kazakhstan in single performances. In 2008, he was highly praised at the World Championships in Athens, and in 2011 at the World Championships in Luxembourg. In 2018, he became the Champion of Almaty, the Asian Champion in powerlifting.
Mukazhan Yerlan Aliaskaruly is an honored coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan in freestyle wrestling. His students won gold, silver and bronze medals in Greco-Roman wrestling at the XXIV Summer Deaflympic Games, which were held in Brazil.
Arina Lushchikova, a student of the OP-21-2p group, is professionally engaged in sports, participated in the Short Track Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is a prize-winner of various competitions.
